Join the northern region's NJ Watershed Ambassador for a hands-on stream study. Volunteers will learn how to monitor and measure stream flow, depth, and temperature, and substrate characteristics. Aquatic macroinvertebrates will be collected and identified, giving volunteers the opportunity to learn about these fascinating creatures and how they help scientists understand and assess local water quality.
It's always recommended you bring a water bottle and wear sturdy shoes, long pants, a head covering, and tick/bug repellent. Please RSVP.
