Area 57 is all about tech and aviation, highlighting the Drone demonstrations by Warren Community College. The College has been building a nationally acclaimed drone, robotics and AI program. This program teaches piloting, design and development, and the maintenance and repair of drones.
This year's event will also feature Combat Robots, organized by the newly formed Garden State Combat Robotics League. The League is quickly growing and with a serious competition arena, build with the support of Warren Community College and ExploreWarren.org. Robot competitors are traveling to be a part of our competitions.
The Da Vinci Science Center Mobile Fab Lab is coming to the join the fun with a hands-on workshop. Participants will use Inkscape to create laser-cut foam gliders while exploring the science behind aerodynamics. Ages 10-14.
